Welcome to Osbornia Farm

Osbornia Farm is a family owned and operated farm in Southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  The Osborne Family has deep roots in the area, with the property originally being purchased in 1934 by Charles B. Osborne.   The property is owned by Donald and Mary Jane Osborne and managed by, Amy Osborne Broome, Geoff Broome and Shauna Osborne.

With the love of their property, family and community, the Osborne family wanted to create an event venue that would be enjoyed by all, placing an emphasis on community, family and friends. After years of planning and designing, we are proud to offer a venue with personalized touches, a peaceful atmosphere and a unique blend of modern, elegance, rustic, and nature all on a beautiful historical property.

The Bank Barn

The Bank Barn is a two story, 1800’s barn, redesigned and repurposed to accommodate special events with up to 200 guests.  The layout of the barn was carefully designed with you and your guests in mind. The Barn is completely climate controlled with heating and air to create a comfortable temperature throughout the year.

The main level of the barn is an elegant wide-open space with a unique fireplace and a balcony to overlook the event.  There are beautiful large windows to allow natural light and invite the outdoors in.  Perfect for any reception and indoor ceremony.

The lower level of the barn is framed by beautiful stone walls with large windows and doors.  The doors open up to a patio and a 100-year-old chestnut grove creating a peaceful atmosphere.  This space is perfect for a cocktail hour or special reception.  The large chestnut grove is situated with a pergola creating a beautiful scene for an outdoor ceremony.

Inside the barn we have a beautiful bridal suite and groom’s den for you and your bridal party to relax and get ready for your special day.  In consideration for all your guests we have made the property easily accessible with bathrooms provided on both floors, drop off areas, and an elevator unique to our property.

Located on the lower level is a warming kitchen for the convenience of our guests and caterers.  Large barn doors can be opened or closed at our guest’s discretion to hide the warming kitchen from view.

History of Osbornia Farm

The farm is a unique property, full of history and beauty.  Originally part of the historical property of the Robert Fulton Farm and Birthplace.  For locals and train enthusiast, the farm features one of the only railroad bed sections still in existence of the Lancaster-Oxford and Southern Railroad, also known as the Little Old and Slow Railroad.  The Little Old and Slow ran from Oxford, PA to Peach Bottom and Fairmount to Quarryville in the late 1800’s to around 1920.  The Railroad bed and bank is still evident in front of the farmhouse and barn.
